MPower has just introduced an innovative remote start and stop back-up petrol generator for solar powered systems and remote applications. Developed in Melbourne the system is only made possible with the use of Honda's unique 'intelligent' iGX440 engine, which employs an advanced Drive-By-Wire (DBW) control system, a feature never before available in general purpose engines. The DBW facilitates a fully programmable system enabling the engine to start by a trigger – in the case of solar applications; this is when the solar panels have not provided enough energy to fully charge the batteries the generator is initiated. |
