Dryfit Traction Block batteries are valve regulated, rechargeable lead-acid batteries which, in contrast to conventional systems, retain the electrolyte in a gel. This technology produces batteries, which are obviously maintenance free. And it is worth it – personnel and material costs are reduced by up to 30%. No expensive charging rooms are needed because dryfit batteries are extremely low gassing. The batteries can be used and charged even in sensitive environments. Damage and contamination from leaking acid are unlikely to occur because the electrolyte is retained in a gel. Maintenance Free and Sealed

Each cell is sealed by a valve preventing penetration by airborne oxygen. Excess pressure (from overcharging is vented and the valve resets. Gas within the battery is recombined to form water. Therefore no water topping up or filling is needed and no acid spill will occur. Mistakes in maintenance are eliminated.

Deep Discharge Resistant

Batteries can survive deep discharges and still recover their capacity. Even after 4 weeks left flat the battery can recover to 80% after 48 hours recharging and to 100% after a few cycles.
