DUMMY LOAD BANKS

The company designs and builds "dummy" load banks many of which are in use with the Australian Defence Forces in both workshop and field situations. In the workshop, the load bank provides conveniently selectable load and accurate output measurements for generators up to 250 kVA under test and have recently been successful in tendering for a IMW mobile reactive load bank. In the field, the equipment supplies load to generators during periods of light use, to avoid diesel engine deterioration. Load can be added or subtracted in 1 kW steps while the generator is connected.

Our resistive and reactive load banks presently range up to 1 mW and are complete with suitable controls for manual, remote or automatic operation.
